DESCRIBE THE STRUGGLE FOR DEMOCRATIC GOVERNMENT IN LATIN AMERICA

One goal in Latin America is to establish a constitutional government, participation of citizens in political affairs is also critical. Another goal is to recognize and increase the role of women in politics. Through out the region women are taking an active roll in government and are running for office. Argentina suffers from inflation, a rise in the prices of goods and services. To spread the wealth more fairly in Latin America they have set up the land reform. The Land Reform is a process of breaking up large landholdings and giving portions of the land to the peasant farmers. The land reform gave people a better chance at economic equality.
